My nursing journey began early, I earned my CNA in high school and completed clinicals at a long-term care facility. There, I quickly discovered my calling: caring for the elderly. What started as a clinical rotation turned into more than a decade of service at that same facility, where I grew from bedside caregiver to Director of Nursing, overseeing a 120-bed rural Missouri community.

In 2019, marriage brought me to Atlanta — and a new chapter. Over the next seven years, I immersed myself in leadership at a Continuing Care Retirement Community. Gaining deep experience in skilled nursing through various administrative roles. A profound personal loss changed everything. Losing my mother at just 60 years old ignited a new passion: helping elders remain in the comfort and dignity of their own homes for as long as possible.

That conviction led me to pursue my Certified Case Manager certification and to explore every resource Atlanta offers for older adults. That search brought me to Visiting Nurse Private Home Care—a place where I believe God wants me to be. I am deeply energized by the opportunity to combine my decades of long-term care experience with my commitment to aging in place, serving the individuals and families who need it most.

Outside of work, my husband and I share a love of the outdoors, home improvement projects, and adventures with our two daughters. When I need to recharge, you'll find me in the garden, baking, reading, or running. My husband and I are passionate about raising children who value intergenerational relationships and understand the gift of honoring their elders — a value made beautifully real by having grandparents living just around the corner.
