Who’s Eligible?
You may qualify for VA Health Care if you:

Served in active-duty military, naval, or air service
-
Were discharged under conditions other than dishonorable
-
Have a service-connected disability
-
Are a former POW, Medal of Honor recipient, or Purple Heart recipient
Service requirements based on enlistment date:

Before Sept. 7, 1980: No minimum length of service; income must fall below $56,700 (varies by region).

After Sept. 7, 1980: Must have served 24 continuous months; income must fall below $56,700.
