Honestly, I never dreamed that I would be an HR Manager with VNPHC. In 2015, I joined the company as a certified nurse assistant to help me pay my bills while I was in college. I was studying IT with plans to work in technology for a large company. Although I completed my degrees in technology and engineering, God had different plans for me. While my husband served our country in Afghanistan, I needed to stay closer to home with our two baby boys. Katie and Sylvia asked me to support them in human resources with scheduling because I could do it from home. Quickly, though, I felt the pull to be in the office alongside Sylvia because of the positive, happy energy she exudes. Every day poses new challenges, opportunities, and the promise to make a difference. I am so proud to be part of this company. Here we care for each other, provide for each other, laugh with each other, and most importantly pray for each other. Here at visiting nurse, we live, serve, and provide care to all our dear clients and ourselves in the moment because life is so sweet and precious. We are multi-cultural as we come from all over the world (I am from Ghana), to share our passion to help others.
